Thanks for the kind words. I had a chance to install some of the black goodies today and I did manage to have time to install the fender skirt. I got lucky, looks better than I hoped it would. But, I'll wait to post that one when the bike is ready. Not sure if mine will be able to compare with some of the sweet rides often posted here on the forum, but we'll give it a go for fun.
Only guarantees; it will be a little different, I'll enjoy it and that's the best part!
Hey, post the pictures back to this thread. I've got it subscribed so I can see the finished product.

I definitely will, I'm flattered, thanks. Bike is coming together pretty well now that I've got some of the bigger parts on. It's helping me visualize the end product better. It's also showing me where I need to "just add those couple things" to balance the look even more. Now I'm merely waiting for the powdercoater to finish those important pieces.
One lesson I learned I should share. At all cost, keep ALL powdercoat away from ANY threads regardless of how little might appear negligible. Almost got real costly in a hurry.
After a long grueling wait, the bike is worthy of posting. Or so I hope. Different members were asking for pics of different bits & pieces, so I'll probably be posting different pics on various threads. The day was kind of so-so, and I'm no Ansel Adams, but here's a few teasers. As you can see, it's my ultimate 'convertible' in how many ways I can change the bike depending on what I'm doing or where I'm going.
WOW! Not a big fan of the saddle bag rails normally, I know they are very practical. You did an outstanding job on that bike, it really pops! I love the subtle chrome touches that accent the various blacked out items. Very nicely done. Those wheels set it off. As they say up here, "You done good, son, you really done good!"
