I have been perplexed about the charge for the custom colors on the new Ultra Classic Limited bike comming out in Oct. The web site says $24,899.00 and yet the dealers out here in Arizona, all swear that their liturature states the cost of the bike would be $25,899.00. Must be a misprint I read on one thread. Well,.... I called Harley to find out the truth and after several days I was called back and informed that $24,899 was the msrp and that, there had not been a misprint in the liturature that the dealers were sent. Could it be that the dealers are mis speaking???? No that could not be.
Just thought ya might want to know.
i also notice that and the dealer told me 25899.I look at the book they give you and thats what it says but like you said if you look at the web site it says 24899.I told them the web site is correct because all they add for custom paint on all the other models is 200.And they agreed. So you people watch out.
I asked my dealer about this and yes we found the difference between the brochure and the web. We are a satellite store so he called his main store and told them and they were like "so?". Screw the man who doesn't know typical HD dealer attitude. Oh it was "I don't care man, that's what I sell them for. Don't make me do anything. Now leave me alone".
The brochures HD printed that dealer hand out with all the bikes for 2010 does have a misprinted price of $25,899.00 I believe and the web site says $24,899.
Dealers are going to use the misprint to get an extra easy $800 off people.
I can't believe HD lied to you when they have two different prices, in print and on the web. Who did you talk to at Harley?

Let me guess; you were probably talking to Chester or Hacienda or maybe booth?
Call Arrowhead, avoid a salesman and ask to speak to the sales manager!

I called Grand Canyon Harley, Mayer Harley, Buddy Stubbs Harley, Hacienda, and Arrowhead Harley. They all claim that the liturature sent to them from Harley Davidson states $25,899.00. I pointed this out to Moco and they claimed that there were no mis prints, but it is up to the individual dealers to set their own prices. Grand Canyon, Mayer, and Buddy Stubbs are selling their bikes for msrp but Arrowhead has marked theirs up 2K over msrp I just find it interesting and worth sharing.
Well if they do I am sure you can find a dealer who will sell you one at msrp of the internet not the book handout they give you. Both my dealers agreed that the web site was correct and the book hand out was wrong. If not save your money till next year because I am sure there will be more of the limited if not all of them going to 103 in 2011

Same here...they tried to chg me $25,899 until I questioned it...they checked with MOCO & immediately changed it to the correct MSRP at $24,899...
The HD Website is the correct price & any dealer thats trying to charge you $25,899 is BS & I wouldn't buy a damn thing from em!!
