You shouldn't have to adjust it. Make sure you start the bolt through the stabilizer before you tighten the engine mount plate. Once you have the mount plate bolts tight you start the alignment for the front mount. It all boils down to this, make sure the mount is centered when viewed from the bottom of the hole in the frame. Make sure ti stays centered and torque the engine mount to frame bolts. Then make sure the mount to rubber mount isn't binding in the hole and tighten it. Put your voltage regulator back on and you should be in business.
Tourque values:
Engine mount to frame-33-38 FT lbs
Engine mount center bolt-30-45 FT Lbs
Voltage regulator bolts- 70-100 in lbs.
