The clutch on my 09 SG does not want to stay properly adjusted. I have adjusted it several times and it always wants to loosen up at the lever. Don't get me wrong, it is working perfectly with engaging and disengaging, but as I put more miles on the bike, the clutch wants to loosen up at the lever. In fact I have ran out of threads on the cable adjustment and had to readjust at the clutch itself right after the 1000 mile service (did myself). Now I am about to run out of threads again because I have had to tighen up the 1/4 gap at the lever a couple times. I have read about cable stretch, but the is ridiculous..any suggestions?
Mine is requiring more attention than I`m used to giving too. Seems like the cable keeps stretching and I`m just not happy with it once I get it where I want it gets loose again. I`m not hard on clutches either. Curious what responses you`ll get here and I intend to talk to my dealer about it. I`ve adjusted it per the manual at the primary first and then the cable too, just seems to loosen up (play at lever)

+1 same here. I have to adjust it like every 1000 miles. I Need a new cable perhaps...
