I also like the idea of getting more rear wheel HP. Thanks for the info.
I like it WAY better I saved all the old parts in case I would not have liked it, but thats just no the case.

i will know next week. Mine came in last Thursday. It did take 10 days from ordering. All the 20% discount internet stores said they were on back order from moco but my dealer got mine for me.
Putting it in either tomorrow or Tuesday.

I have 34,000 miles on my ultra and started to get some issues with my comp. sprocket. After reading a lot of pages about it I realized I was experiencing them all. Starter bang, kick back at times, lugging when the wife was with me on steep inclines when taking off, noise in the primary, lash in the drive line...

I don't think I missed this but, I will ask anyway. The sprocket from Evolution Industries with the 30t compensator and new chain is really just like the SE sprocket 34t only you are going to 30t. You guys got me excited to do this mod, THANKS!

No. The SE compensator is still a compensator sprocket. The EVO 30T is a direct sprocket (no compensator)

This an interesting subject for me. I'm finally use to the LOUD clunk at starting, but I still get it when I let out the clutch a little to aggressively starting out. I used to think that was the piston slapping (lugging), but I was told by my dealership that it is the compensator. I also have a pretty loud whine in the primary and wonder if the SE compensator would help that.

I'm sure its in here somewhere, but I can't find it. What does the compensator do? Why is the SE better?

I've got almost 14000miles on the SE Compensator. Completely satisfied. No more knocking, no more heavy bang on startup.
Didn't pull my inner primary, just grind a little off the inside radius at the lower left as you are looking at it. You will be able to slid the old rotor off and install the new one no sweat.

I was able to slide the rotor out until it hit the inner primary, then **** it and rock it up ever so slightly using the end chamfer on the shaft and the running clearance on the splines, and it came right off without having to do any loosening or grinding.
