I run a custom blend of gases in my tires. It is made up of 78% nitrogen, along with a few other specialty secret ingrediants. It is the best thing for using for those that are concerned with performance, tire life, and bang for your buck.

Never bothered running nitrogen. We have it at the shop and some people swear by it. From what I have learned it will keep the pressure up longer. I usually check mine once a week so I'm not too worried.

+1 on that. I run a custom pre-mix of 78% Nitrogen, 21% oxygen and some other trace gases like argon and other crap.

okay, so how do they expect to get all the air out of the tire so they can replace it with oxygen. they claim that nitrogen, by having larger molecules will not leak out of the tire near as quickly as regular compressed air. which means that the 78% of nitrogen will remain in your tire, and only oxygen and the other small amounts of various other gasses will leak out? leaving nothing but nitrogen. go figure. they're marketing something like hot air it sounds like to me. besides, a side note, if the nitrogen is not installed by harley, it'll void your warranty.

+1 On the custom blend. I also filter it through my compressor.
