the 2010 fugly looks sportier and nicer, if you can't change a seat, windshield and shocks to fit you, ya don't belong on a harley
I couldn't agree more Leo... and I was laughing as I read through the reasons not to get the 2010... those things are what almost everyone on this forum change either quickly, or over time anyway! I am so in love with the Scarlet Red RGC, that I don't know how much more time can go by without scratching that itch. Of course I will take care of the seat, put a new windshield on, and jack up the rear suspension (and front in time), so there I would be with my latest / greatest love.... or as I call her.... 'my period' - the kind that would last all month, and be nothing but pleasure... not tenderness, no bloating, etc Now if I could just get a decent offer for my bike, I would be off to the races! Anyone interested in a 2009 BEAUTIFUL Road King Classic with TONS of extras?!!?
come on guys whats not to like? i just got my 10 roadglide and i will tell you that i swore id never have a bagger till i saw this vivid black custom wow what a job they did its beautiful its a bagger with flair! i already have 1000 miles it handles great and looks mean dont put it down till ou try it is it stiffer then the older yes but that can be changed the windsheild can be changed also give the moco a little credit for trying to get a little more custom to keep it fresh and best of all you can still make just like the 09
I have a 2010 Road Glide Custom and I love it. The '09 were just tall for me to be comfortable on. I always like the stance and profile of the street glides but I didn't care for the bat wing. When I saw the new FLTRX, I knew it was the bike for me... even the 2-into-1 pipe. I have a 103 Stage II install scheduled, just waiting on the parts. I traded my 2008 Fat Bob for this. Sure I could made a 2009 into a similar bike but the cost would have ended up about the same and I'd have a one year old bike... I love my '10 road glide.
Well, I love my 09 Black Pearl Road Glide. The only thing I don't like are the wheels and the stupid headlight adjustment. Otherwise, it's a great bike. I like the looks of the 2010 Road Glide, except for the 2 into 1 exhaust. But mine's all paid off and no way am I going to have bike payments for a long time. I would like to demo one though.
