Do a search on e-bay for harley fairing there's a few Road Glide fairing's on there pretty cheap! I'm always looking for a set of cheap fairing lowers fo my 05 Roadie. I caught a lot of flack for buying the shark nose Roadie, all my friends have Batwings. But after riding both I'm glad I got the Shark Nose [&:]

I have been riding an Ultra Classic for the last week ( loaner bike while the HD shop is fumbling with my primary leak ) and I must say this.....

Under 70 mph, the batwing is much easier to handle, feels more nimble, and presents itself as much less intimidating to a shorter rider ( I'm not short by any means, just my thoughts )

BUT....and it's a BIG BUT.......over 70 mph, and on all day rides....the sharknose really shines. Personally, I think that it will require a more experienced rider to "Toss" a roadie into the twisties at high speed. I do not have problems doing so, but then again, I am 6'4" and bumping 300 lbs. If I had it to do over again....I would still get the sharknose. There is alot to be said about riding one handed, at 90 mph, with the cruise on. I do it regularly on the roadie. I tried it on the UC....it did not feel safe. Dont take it personally all you batwing fans......just my personal opinion.....

So, you feel the Batwing is easier to handle than the Road Glide at speeds below 70??? May I ask why.. And how do you get your Cruise to hold above 80?
