Default Removing Rear crash bars.....

I want to remove the rear crashbars from my standard to give it a cleaner look.

I'm assuming theres a bracket to keep the saddlebags held up from underneath but I cant seem to locate it.

Thanks,
Garrison

You need part 46565-04 which are saddlebag supports.

Part retails for $120 but you can get it at Zanotti for $94.

That was one of the first things I did too. IMHO it really cleans up the look of the bike

Hey man, I'm about to go that route with my 2006 FLHRCI. Can ya give me some tips as to how you supported your pipes etc when you removed the rear crash bar and adjoining bars?

Make sure you put them on ebay. Last time I hit a deer, it bent mine. So I need cheap sources from guys like you who want to look pretty.

This thread is from 2006 but you need something like this:

https://www.denniskirk.com/drag-spec...prd/508323.sku

The saddlebag support bar remains in place but it connects directly to the lower frame without the part that extends upward in front of the saddlebag itself.
