I leave it in my Jacket or in my car. In Ilinois as long as your bike plate is registered they will use your plate to find out your unit number and deduct it. Happens all the time I forget to pt it back in the car, bike or my daughter takes it and forgets to give it back.

I got tired of swapping between my truck and scoot so I got one just for the scoot and it is mounted under the fairing just over the radio.

Now that I"ve got the T-Bag's Windshield Bag, that works great. I have a few of those plastic things for the transponder--you can have one for postage.

I'm gonna try mounting mine inside the batwing next time I have it apart. Right now I use the windshield bag...had it in my tour pack last week but some stuff shifted and it didn't work.

Late,
