Seriously, unless you have already done heads & cams the TB wont help.

I had a couple of runs with an R6 last week at the strip.

He was running 11.6 - 11.9 and I ran a 12.25 and a 12.32 with the screen on. I lost but I hardly call that a spanking!!

Welcome to HDF. After you have read the other replies, decide what you want to achieve with your bike. What is it you want a bigger TB to give? There are HDFers here with seriously tuned bikes who can offer suggestions. Give us more to work with!

Another thing to consider is where your keeping the engine rpms at while riding.
Most people never get close to the engine horsepower available on these bikes.
If your not keeping it above 3K all the time and hitting 4 to 5K when shifting your not touching the power band.

Check out the Dyno charts on this site. I have had very good luck with them.

Really? How much did he have into his engine build up? If his was stock and yours was 124" I'd wouldn't call it a spanking either, I'd call it a drubbing.

Do what you want to a air cooled Harley engine, it wont outrun a stock 650 or last very long.

Ya know...either way so what?

What business is it of yours? If a guy wants to make is bike a little faster or have more torque then so what?

You can't get on a stock 650 and comfortably go touring two up either, with bags for extra clothes and gear.

I think a nice can of STFU is in order......

My 2 cents.
