Go over a few on the first service a problem!! Say........2-300 miles?? I'm about 180 under and thats about half a ride for me! I know alot of guys are pretty **** about the first service!! So. any opinions??? Thanks!!
Change your fluids/filter as close to 1000 miles as possible....don't go way over, like say 200 miles.
All the breakin gunk is in there. The rest of the 1000 mile service just follow the manual.
If you have your dealer do the 1000 mile check-up later, just tell him you changed the fluids at 1000 miles.

I wouldn't go over if at all possible. Lots of metal shaving in the oil. Plus its a good time to switch to syn oils.
Do most dealers get all the oil out on the first 1000 service. I don't like the thought of leaving up to a quart of metal ladden used oil in on the first service.
