I am really worried that you are asking if it is safe that she falls asleep on the back of your bike.

My wife falls asleep regularly on long trips. She has never come close to falling over. I can always tell she's asleep, because her helmet starts tapping mine.

My old lady does the same thing, and has been doing it for at least 30 years! No problems yet. She's also been known to ride down the road on the back of the scoot reading a book on longer trips!

This happens to me alot with the girlfriend, she gets a bit to comfy after a day of riding and sometimes on the way home she falls asleep....We have spoken about this and I slide back and pin her up on the backrest so she doesn't fall off....Scares the crap outta me but tap her if something troubles me but sometimes all it takes is a slip second for a disaster to pop up....We also have helmet intercoms so most times I just say something and she does come back up.....I know this is not safe and she does too, but hey riding without a helmet is kinda too...She usually will tell me she is tired and I know that she is going to snooze, but it still doesn't make it safe...Its not all the time but I won't say she don't do it, with some good tunes, a bit of sunburn, and being comfy it hits her....Just kinda makes me stress a bit more till we get home and watch that much more...I bet if we ran across law enforcement here in Florida it would probably cause a nice ticket...

I have a no sleeping rule if I think she's getting sleepy I give her an elbow. A tourpak backrest will kind of hold em on but a regular backrest won't.

I'd be worried that she'd slump the wrong way and pull me out of a turn.

On a side note, me thinks her seat is WAY to comfortable!!! LOL
