Fairing Gauges...Quick Question?
Are the gauges in a 2005 and newer Road Glide the same as in a Street Glide?
Would they be plug and play or is the wiring or anything different?
Somebody take me to Harley Gauge School please thanks...

The speedo and tach warning lights and Fuel Guage changed how they worked in 08.....I learned the hardway, by installing 08 gauges in an 07. All worked ok except low fuel light came on when the tank was full and fuel guage read full all the time regardless of level (they changed the way the signal was sent in 08). The ABS light on the tach came on all the time since my bike did not have ABS in 07 or the signal to turn the light out. I had to replace all 3 when swapping my gauges out.
The functionality of the Speedo and Tach worked properly. 07 I believe they also added the 6th gear annunciator to the speedo, not sure if it was on the earlier models or not.
