Well, I'm 63 years old. I hurried home from work this afternoon to rip open a new set of Bub 7s and proceeded with great enthusiasm to pull the old mufflers on my 09 Ultra and install the new system. After 3 hours of rolling around on the garage floor having trouble getting things off the bike and all the new hardware to line up and fit properly, I break for dinner. After dinner, I go back to the garage to check my work. I am now sore and stiff as hell. I feel the arthritis in my hands. I back the bike out of the garage and fire it up. Down the driveway and down the road I go. That wonderful full Harley sound reaches my ears. It's like music and its addictive. Now I know why I do this. There is nothing like the wind and the sound of a great Harley exhaust. Man, I glad I bought these Bub 7s and am fortunate enough to be able to own and ride such a great machine. Don't you all agree?
Bravo Ultraman . Sometimes I think we need an "oldpharts" forum so we can discuss some of the things we're interested in. You know... stuff like "the best" roll-around stools, knee pads, back braces, pain medications, chosen beverage upon job completion (oops, all these immature adolescents would invade our domain then - scratch that "beverage" one).

Of course I'm agree. Wifes has come and gone. Houses has come and gone. Cars has come and gone. Friends has come and gone. Dogs have come and gone.....
But there always have been a Harley in my garage for the last 35 years. And I hope there will be for many more years to come.....with or without BUB's...
Thats how i felt the first time i heard my rinehart TD start up! music to my ears, i love my bike, i wish i lived in an area i could ride year round, but we we cant in michigan.
I have never heard the bub 7 before, but everyone says good things, i will have to check those out!
It's the "63 yr old man" part that everyone missed.
In other words....who would've thought that a 63 yr old guy would run home like a little boy, roll on the floor in his garage, and suffer the agony tomorrow
If you think about it....some things really haven't changed, have they?
I remember running home from school and working on my Honda 80
Well im gonna be 58 tomorrow 9/11 .. Not as old as you but I spent yesterday rolling around under my 54 f 100 project . All I did to my bike this week was put it on the red sears jack and wash it. Im gonna go get bugs all over it today . My buddy called yesterday and says hey wanna go ride tomorrow.. I checked my schedule (hell im unemployed) and decided I had time to go .... Ill have a smile all afternoon with out any new parts . Just a good wash job making it pretty again makes me smile...

I am 64 and I can identify with the feeling after rolling around on the cement
garage floor too. Takes a little bit longer to stand up than when I was 50 ;-))
