Sometimes I wonder Why We Do This

Well, I'm 63 years old. I hurried home from work this afternoon to rip open a new set of Bub 7s and proceeded with great enthusiasm to pull the old mufflers on my 09 Ultra and install the new system. After 3 hours of rolling around on the garage floor having trouble getting things off the bike and all the new hardware to line up and fit properly, I break for dinner. After dinner, I go back to the garage to check my work. I am now sore and stiff as hell. I feel the arthritis in my hands. I back the bike out of the garage and fire it up. Down the driveway and down the road I go. That wonderful full Harley sound reaches my ears. It's like music and its addictive. Now I know why I do this. There is nothing like the wind and the sound of a great Harley exhaust. Man, I glad I bought these Bub 7s and am fortunate enough to be able to own and ride such a great machine. Don't you all agree?

I agree, nothing like the sound of Bub 7's.

I know exactly what you mean, I changed mine out yesterday. The sound is a beautiful thing.

+1 Had a similar experience tonight myself. Riding in the cool breeze, feeling alive and blessed to have such a great bike. Then stopped by the grocery store before coming home. When I came out to the parking lot, there was a guy admiring my scoot. Chatted for a minute before heading home. Too cool...
