I'm getting ready to return from deployment in the next couple weeks and I haven't been able to stay up on the forum very much while I've been away. I saw a thread on here about cupping tires and got to thinking...what else have I missed???
So, what issues have been found with the 09's to date?
May as well make my list of things to check when I get the girl out of the back of my garage...
I couldn't agree more with the above statement. I just turned over 4300 miles since April 15. I think some are complaining about cupping issues on the tires but I haven't seen anything myself. I love my bike!
Let's see, cupping tires, water holding swingarms, uncomfortable stock seats, uncomfortable stock handlebars, under powered motors, over priced MSRPs, fairing internal temperature guage inaccuracies, etc...
Just kidding! Actually the cupping tires is about it that I know of. I've been super happy with mine so far (knocking on wood).
Cupping tires, water holding swingarms. Most of the old complaints except for wobble.
Wider frame (seat) makes them feel taller, can be an issue for some.
Gearing, frame and exhaust routing are improvements over the 08s.
We should be hearing issues about the 2010s by now. Seem to be same as the 09s without tire cupping. The Ultra Limited is a welcome addition to the family.
