Wife has not complained about hot legs since the HD install. Wish there was a way to give a definitive answer. I do "believe" that they force air down on the pipes which helps cool. My bike is BLACK so the HD's are really not highly visible. Bottom line: I'd install them again!

Captain Itch all the way. What I like about them is they are the same on both sides of the bike, unlike the other leather ones out there, and 1/2 the price too. They do an excellent job and look great. 2 minute install. Great people to deal with also.

HD ones here --

Definitely on the "just have the dealer put them on before you even pick up the bike" list.** Felt like a fool for waiting to get them.

** Not because they were a PITA to put on (which they were, at least in my case), but because they're wonderfully effective.

RJ's Originals ave been my choice for the last three HD's. They work great, are easy to install, look least intrusive, and WORK like a flippin charm!

These are one of the best things I've added...really fixes the fried thighs!

Have fun...

Thumbs up

I bought Capt. Itch Crotch Cooler, and it is GREAT! Easy to install, and I think it will last forever.

Once I put the true duals on I find the heat not to be an issue anymore.
