It's burned into my memory. I worked on the Crisis Action Team for the Feds trying to sort out and find the bastards that conducted that horrific event. And to see where our country has come since then. It's sad. To think that our own country is talking seriously about punishing the interrogators that led to the intel to avoid more of these events is absolutely insane. Of course the media doesn't have much to say about the San Francisco terrorist attach that was AVOIDED because of the information we gained through those interrogations! Just makes me sick.....

I'll never forget that day or where I was and what I was doing. God bless all the lost souls from that day. We need to not let the younger generation ever forget as well. They will be the ones in charge as we age.

I personally like to make an effort to stop and thank anyone I come accross in uniform and thank them for serving.

As a US Marine who has served for 15 years, I, and my brothers and sisters thank you for all the praise and accolades received from the general public. Like many, I thank people I see as well; the firemen, police and EMTs. They do the do every day and often get forgotten or even derided for what they do. The DOD took the baton from those that were there on the day and the weeks that followed. Let's make sure we remember them in our prayers and thank them for THEIR daily service right here on our glorious shores.

My avitar pic is one that I took while seving in Desert Storm. While in Kuwait I snapped this at night,it is the oil fires set by the retreating Iraqi Army. It was so bright outside at night in the desert I could read a book with no light. I counted at least 114 fires. It was the worst smelling thing I ever had to drive through.

I thank God each day for the LEO's, firemen and 1st responders. Add a special prayer for all the men and women in uniform. We must never forget this day and must at all costs find the individuals that are responsible for it.
