Hi, I'm looking for recommendations on a nice cover to use while at work on my SG. Where to buy, and go with a full or half cover? I assume the 1/2 cover could be put on while the bike is hot? I just don't want the bike sitting in the sun all day, and my work lot doesn't offer much shade at all. Any and all opinions or advice would be appreciated! Thanks!
I have a Nelson Rigg half cover that works pretty well. I took it to Sturgis with me and it kept the huge hail from damaging my bike. The cover only ended up with a couple of small tears. Well worth the 35 or 40$ it cost.
I've used the HD Oasis Day Cover for years- designed for the Ultra- picked it up at the Dealer for 20% off- even has slots for the antenna-and you can install with the bike hot. http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/g...bmLocale=en_US
J&P cycle has a nice full cover with heat resistant panel for the pipes and a soft area over the windshield. Does not identify as a Harley Dav. when bike covered.
I bought the non waterproof one..I look back should have got the waterproof one.
The XXL works great on my bike and you just have to pay attention when putting it on a hot bike, like any cover
Had mine since I bought the bike...very good covers.
Mine is Logo free, so I guess they upgraded with logo now

Here's what I've been using...I put it on even when it's hot just don't wrap it around the pipes. I like the half cover too.
