The salesman that I dealt with on my 06 RKC told me that after the end of the month (May) that if you changed the pipes on your new HD that it would void the warranty. Have any of ya'll heard of this or ishe just b.s.ing me? Thanks , Stafford
I call major B.S. That was the first thing I asked my salesman and then I questioned the store manager and service manager when I bought my '06 RKC and all said the warranty is still good. Just to make sure nothing got messed up that could possibly void the warranty, I had the dealership put my Rineharts on themselves. Luckily I have a good dealership in my area (not a stealer).
I wonder why he would deliberately lie about that? I don't appreciate it at all and I'll confront him about it on Tuesday when I go to the shop. Maybe I should let another dealer do the 1000 mile service and say screw em. Thanks, Stafford
You can't change the warranty in the middle of the time period.
Walk in the dealership, in front of a saturday morning crowd, and ask to see this warranty change in writing. Then go to another dealer. There are excellent dealers out there, trouble is, there is know way of knowing until you walk in the door[&:]

Let me start over here, he told me in the store while I was looking at bikes that anything sold after the end of May, you couldn't alter the exhaust without voiding the warranty. This was in May. I didn't buy until June 3rd. I'm just wondering if all dealers are saying this or just this particular dealer. Thanks guys, Stafford
