If you wear a DOT helmet get the 17" shield. Im 6' with a 16" Cee Baily SSC Dome and the wind just catches the top of my helmet a 17" would have been perfect.

Go trade it in for the Ultra, get a 10" FastAire windshield and ride in comfort. That's the best advice I can give you, cause you are never going to be happy with the RG, that's obvious.

I had a lot to drink last night so I must still be drunk because I could swear I'm reading a thread were people are bitching about the wind on a motorcycle. Hope I sober up soon this is freaking me out. :/
