I have a Street Glide with 3500 miles. When I took it in for the
1000 mile check the injectors were changed from 8 degree to 25's for
idling issues and the front brake was cleaned for excessive squealing.
Since this time, the front brake still squeals real bad, since the
injectors were changed, the motor has been sluggish and it continues
to overheat. Today the check engine and battery lights have come on.
get a SERT or PCIII with dyno tune and the engines woes go away

The ECM map required for 25 degree injector is very different from the map required for 8 degree injectors. Seems most stealers don't know this and don't load a good map. A good dyno tune with a SERT or PCIII should cure the engine problems and find max hp/torque. A good dyno tuner will also tune for better runability (i.e smoothness) at all engine rpms.
My front brake squeal seems to have almost gone away at 2,000 miles. If it acts up again, I'm going to try swapping rotors side-to-side as many others have done this and it corrected the problem.
I love my StreetGlide and I'm sure you will work through your issues soon. Hang in there.
Thanks for the information guys. I'm new to Harley's and it hasn't been a sweet start. As I posted ealier, the check engine light came on yesterday. Today is wasn't glowing so I took it for a spin. Well as fate would have it the check engine and battery discharge light came on as I watched the volt meter go down, down...... Sure as fate would have it, the battery went dead about a mile from home. Maybe stupid on my part for even riding it. Well, guess it's another 2 hour dive with a trailer back to the Harley dealer.
Call your 800 HOG number and have them tow the damn thing. When my bike was 2 months old, the voltage regulator went out. The warning signs were the check engine light, and voltage meter/gauge dropping.
It just amazes me that so many people suggest modifications to fix the problem; how about a bike that runs good and reliable when stock. We shouldn't have to spend a couple thousand dollars to make a brand new $20,000 bike run right.
The guys above are just trying to spare your feelings. The short answer is "Yes, your SG is a lemon and nothing can be done to fix it!" With that said I'll do you a big favor and give $2K to take that miserable lemon off your hands!!!
