I have a RK 06 carbed.. I find that the idle is way too fast.. its ok when its cold but too fast when its hot.. is there an easy adjustment I can do to slow the ilde down abit? and if so how is it done. thanks Bob
Once the bike is up to operating temp (260 degrees), the idle is set with the enricher ALL THE WAY IN.....
To do this correctly, you MUST HAVE a tachometer, and the motor needs to be set to 950 to 1050 rpm.....
If you do not have a tachometer, DO NOT TRY TO TRUST YOUR EAR........ You will probably lower the idle low enough to cause a problem with the supply of oil to the internals...
There is a small phillips screw (Silver) on the upper right side of the carb, you will turn left to lower, right to increase....
Lastly, make sure that you look in the DIY section here in the Forum....
