03 to 04 FLTR changes

What changed between 2003 and 2004 on Road Glides?
I am looking for fairing lowers for my 08 and keep finding early ones for sale.
I was wondering if there was enough change between the years that early lowers wouldn't work

In 2004 the fairing was tilted forward 4 degrees and the windshield reangled to better align with the reoriented fairing.

is that also when the stripes on the fairing got out of line with the stripes on the tank? that drives me nuts on my 06...

Thanks for the info.
I just bought a pair off E-bay. Not sure if they are early or later ones.
I'll find out when they get here.
Sounds like early should fit on the later models but the later ones would need to be modified to fit early RGs
Hope that is right.
