doing 50-60-70-70 mph the front end feels light. likes its floating around. i dont get a wobble or a shake. but just feels "light" the steering feels fine. air pressure is fine. any ideas?
edit
what i mean by the steering feeling fine is it turns good (not loose) and there is no up and down play on the rack

Take a look at the Tri-Link from www.alloyart.com
This might solve your problem...I have felt this too from time to time.
Always thought it was the road though...maybe not..hmmm..
My 08 felt likethat too. A Klock Werks windshield will help that a little.
They make a 6 1/2" and a 10 1/2". I understand they are no coming out with an 8 1/2" one too.
I just traded for an '09 with the new frame, problem solved. I know that's a little extreme.

Had the same problem, it ended up being blown out rear shocks...
Basically with the front wheel off the ground you should trun the wheel to full turn to one side and let go. It should go back and forth twice and stop on the third in the center I believe. You would have to double check your manual on the number of times. If it goes more than the manual calls for then you need to tighten the bolt that attached the front end to the frame. If it is less then you need to loosen the bolt a bit.

Low air pressure in the rear shocks and low air pressure in the tires would be the first thing I would check, just because they are so easy to check! I'm in Clearwater, too (need to update profile info) and have the HD rear shock pump, so if you want I could check it for you. But, I highly recommend dropping the $40-$50 on the pump as I think it is worth it.
