Depends on YOU!

Do you want a fairing or not?

What type of fairing do you want?

Is a fairing important for the protection it gives you while riding.

The RKC has a different look and style than the hard bag Roadglide.

You get to choose what you ride. Is that great or what?

I was looking at a '03 Roadglide before I bought my '04 RKC. I liked them both, but I probably would have gone for the Roadglide if it had not sold. I like the RKC a lot. The ride is great, but I'm sure it will be better once I have the cash for the sundowner seat. The stock seat leaves a LOT to be desired. I also like having the option of removing the windshield. On the down side, you can't lock the leather saddlebags. Well, not without giving Harley $200 for the locking kit. It would also be nice to have a stereo. I know there are options for tunes for the RKC, but none that don't take away from the look of the bike. (In my opinion)
The tunes and locking bags are a big selling point for the Roadglide. The clean, classic lines and removable windshield make the RKC a good choice. It all comes down to what you want.

You're going to get a lot of different opinions and that is just what they are. Opinions only. Ride a few bikes that you think you may like. Rent, borrow or test ride. Just make sure it is more than around the block ...

Personally, I have little use for a stereo on a motorcycle. Of course, that may change as I get more geezerly.

You're in a win-win situation. Pick the one that catches your eye.

Both great rides.....same frame and geometry. Road Glide is a more comfort oriented tourer, especially if you add lower fairing. Are you cruising more or touring more? Only you can decide.

I had little use for a stereo too, until I got the EGC. I am a spoiled kid now. I don't always have it on but it's there when I get bored. Oh and BTW the stealerships are gearing up for Demo Days, that would be an excellent opportunity to test ride a few then go and rent one for the weekend after you've narrowed the field. Also check out www.hdtrader.com A few dealerships are in there advertising bike with some decent prices. Just a thought for ya. Ride free !!

WOW, you came to the right place for opinions !!! LOL

In my humble opinion the Road Glide handles better that any other bike I have ever riden.

But why rely on our opinions; got out and rent each bike for a day. Small price to pay for such a large investment.
