I was just down there a few weeks ago myself. It's a great ride. A couple other places of interest for anyone that goes. Helen, GA is a really neat town just a ways down from the store at the Gap. The have an incredible festival in October. One road I like to take maybe even more than the Gap, is the Fontana Parkway. I think it may have another name as well. It is a beautiful road with long, sweeping curves. It takes you back over to 321 I believe. Also, if you have been through there in the last little bit. You can go to www.killboy.com and check out some pics. Most likely they will have one of you in action.
Me and a few buddies who were going to do the Can-Am rally are bailin and doin our own route. Looks like we will leave Toronto and do the entire mountain range. We think we will go into LA for some crawfish, and also visit Graceland (I keep hearing that Elvis guy was popular) and tour the Jack Daniels distillery. Should be a great week!
The Jack Daniels Distillery is in a dry county. If you want to have a "taste" while your in the tour buses covering the grounds, pack a pint in your boot.
