I think the air temperature guage shows the temperature of the asphalt under the front tire corrected to compensate for atmospheric pressure, density altitude, water grains and blower pressure.

And here I thought that "ACC" meant "air condition controller" but everytime I pushed it, I didn't get any cooler

ORIGINAL: 2006 Street Glide4me

I used the unused accessory switch on my StreetGlide to control my garage door opener. Mounted a small transmitter under the fairing, soldered wires to the switch in the transmitter and ran them to the switch. Now, when I come home from a ride, I simply flip the switch and the garage door opens !
That's neat. I'd like to see pics or hear more about this. I have an extra small keychain door opener that I could use.

Yeah my ACC switch turns on the Air CONDITIONING but that is on an ULTRA don't know on other model's. YOU should have got the Ultra so you would have A/C.

I bought the pigtail at the HD dealer, plugged it into the hookup under the seat, and connected it to extra driving lights. It worked fine for me.

Did you use a relay from the battery to your lights, or did you just supply the lights directly from the pigtail? I want to do the same thing and I was wondering how many amps that circuit can handle?
