accessory switch will not work on streetglide fuse ok in left side panel

I remember they have a recall on the ignition switch, don't know if that will affect what you are talking about. I e mailed my dealer and they said it wasn't a safety recall and parts are on back order. Go to the HD website and check the recalls. Good luck.

ON the FLHX its just there and not hooked up to anything. You can use it for what ever you need it for. Driving lights, Microwave, Blender

first there has to be something connected to the access switch - I have my communications Rider to passanger wired that way

Exactly. I installed the Road Zepplin seat and hooked it up to the auxillary accessory adapter near the battery

I used the unused accessory switch on my StreetGlide to control my garage door opener. Mounted a small transmitter under the fairing, soldered wires to the switch in the transmitter and ran them to the switch. Now, when I come home from a ride, I simply flip the switch and the garage door opens !
