Utah/AZ Road Trip
Hey Touring friends...I haven't been active around here much lately, because I've been...well...Touring! After Sturgis...I had an opportunity to take another amazing Road Trip and and mapped out a route taking my friend and I from Santa Fe NM to the N Rim of the Grand Canyon and into Utah through the National Parks, before heading back down to SF through Durango.
This is a shameless plug for a posting WITH PICS I did over in the Road Trip Thread. Anyone interested in some beautiful photos...head on over there and check 'em out!
Oh, and by the way, on 9/12 I celebrated the 1 year anniversary of being a Harley owner! (A road trip is the perfect way to celebrate) Actually...that's also pretty much the same amount of time I've been riding since I ordered the bike straight out of Rider's Edge. Baptism by fire for sure...getting a RKC right out of the shoot! I've come a LONG way in a year (Of course, I'm still learning). Have about 8500 miles on the bike...most of them since March. Took me that long to get brave enough to get on the Highway!
