Installed the Pro Pad Mini-beast II today, about 45min. total time. One wire to the battery, the rest is a plug & play harness/relay included in the kit ($114).
Like some of the other members here, I opted to use a caliper insert ($14) to dress up the rather plain chrome cover.
For the initial road test we were able to locate the neighbors (feral) cat. After a 3 sec burst "Kitty" did the 1/8mi. in slightly under 2.7.sec. So I guess we have a winner in the volume dept.
I hope it will have a similar effect on texting / yacking motorists.
