Im thinking of a set of rush slip on slash down for my 08 SG but not sure which size baffle to go with? im still learning this stage 1 and I plan on using the SE stage 1 air with a power commander pc3
Im using the Rush slash downs with 2.0 as well, They sound about right, loud when i want them to be and you can quiet them down while passing through neighborhoods and that police car at the intersection. lol. I think it helps keep things a bit quieter with the slash downs as well, otherwise 2.0" may be a bit loud for some tastes.
I've got the 2.25", nowhere near as loud as the shovel with the 2" drags but it's got good sound. The thing I like about them is when I leave my house I can ride away with barely anyone noticing by just taking it easy or I can hammer it and wake up the whole neighborhood. You don't wnat to go any bigger unless you do some engine mods. If you want to discuss the differences you can contact Rush directly, tehy are a friendly group and hapy to answer questions. I dealt with them along with a bunch of other exhaust vendors when I worked at the dealer which led me to buy from them when the time came.
2" baffle is good.
But I went with the 2.5 baffles in the slash ups.
Put more packing in before install. Nice rumble to them. Course maybe a little bit loud for some. Running a stage II 103 w/255 cams on a 07 SG SERT tuned on a dyno w/ true duals.
