I was glad to put the round one on for that reason. Well....that and I like the round air cleaner cover.

Floorboard extensions will take care of that problem. as they move the boards out 1".

+1 on moving the pegs, I have mine way up on my engine gaurd, so when I use them I'm kinda laying back like in my recliner. You do feel the gusts of wind a bit more with the raised center of gravity, but I love the feel of laying back when I'm cruising along. Mine extend out and forward of the bars, not straight out from the bars.

This is certainly an option. We move our boards out and our pegs lower so that we can rest our heels on the edge of the floorboard and our toes on teh pegs. This makes us the most comfortable.

Ventilator here as well. Difintaley gives you a little more room.

i'm using the floorboard extenders, no problems with contacting the air cleaner anymore. i did change over to the screamin eagle air cleaner with the round nostalgic cover too, all is working very well. with the wider/larger fuel tank of the 08 and newer models, the floorboard extenders help a lot.

Default Air cleaner cover

I've used the Harley Nostalgic Bar & Shield Cover, #29765-01. $59.95 retail. It was a little slimmer and smooth, helped alot, quick swap.
