I am getting used to my "new" 08 Street Glade and am loving it. I have a question that I cannot seem to find an answer to in the owners manual. My right hand audio control will scan the radio frequency band. Is there a way to set it so it will scan my preset radio stations? Or is there a way to scan preset radio stations from the handlebars? I really don't like looking away from the road to hit the little buttons on the head unit.
Well first off, it's a Street Glide, not Glade and the answer is no, you cannot use it to 'jump' to your presets. I agree with you that it would be a better feature than to use it for looking for another channel.

Press and hold the "more" button when in radio mode. This will activate the program scan setting. You can scan presets.

Tried the suggestion above. Not exactly what I was looking for. This will put the radio in preset scan but will not allow the right thumb handlebar control to scan the presets. I guess you just have frequency scan with the handlebar control. Fairly useless when your two fav stations are at opposite ends of the dial. Have to take your eyes off the road, hand off the bar and press the tiny little button on the radio with gloves on. Not good ergonomics. I can live with it though.
