Front Turn Signals
Front Turn Signals?
I'm getting ready to install a fairing and one of the requirements is the move the front running lights and turn singles to the forward mounting hole on the cross bracket.
Removed the turn signal, no problem there, but the power wire for the running light runs through the center of the securing bolt for the running light.
The only way I see to remove the running light is to cut the wire.
Is this what i have to do? Or is there another way.
And yes I did a search but did not find an answer.

There is a special socket that HD uses to adjust the passing lamps that has a slot cut down the middle of it. The socket is like $85. You can make your own socket to remove that nut and take the whole shabang apart.
