I borrowed the copy center idea
but
I did not get the spring, instead i had them put the holes for a 3 ring binder.
The 3 ring binder allows me to remove the pages i need and copy them so original does not get greased-up in garage or in case i need a part from the HD shop.
Did the same for parts book.
I had the copy center put a spiral binding on mine , $6-7

That's a bike I took a picture of at an antique bike show/swap. I don't know the colors. Sorry. It looks like butterscotch in person.
I like the three ring idea... I wish the MoCo would put the whole shebang, (Shop Manual, Electrical, and Parts Manual), on a CD. I had one for my 93 Jeep YJ Wrangler. Need to do some work on something, just print out the pages you need. Simple and useful. Wouldn't cost HD too much to have this done onto a fifty cent CD, heck they'd be able to sell it for fifty dollars, not a bad markup, (about average, from what I've seen... heh).
