Default service manual binding

Anyone else having trouble with the binding on the shop manual? The first one came apart right in the middle. The dealer replaced it. Now the new is coming apart in the front. I am careful with it, but should it take normal abuse I would think. After all it's made for shop use!

My 05 manual did the same thing. I just three-hole punched the whole thing and put it into a three ring binder.

I also used a paper punch and put it in a 3 ring binder.
Every manual that I have had ( 3 bikes, All Harleys ) fell apart.

So guess not just me, that sucks, a $70 book and that's the best they can do. Maybe it's made in China!

I wasn't having any trouble with mine, I just wanted it to lay flat.

I disassemble mine and put the pages in plastic sheets so I can take out the page(s) relating to the job at hand without lugging the rest of the book around.
