I have a 98 FLHTCI and was wondering what the difference other than the axle size between the ealier bikes and the like a 2001 year. Can they be interchanged by just changing the bearings?
I would like to install the mag waggon wheel type rims on my bike. I would install chrome version, but I am having a hard time finding the older ones, and there are a lot of newer stylle around for the newer one.
So the question is if I purchase a wheel for a 2000 - 2007 model will it fit my 1998 bike if I change the bearing and the center tube?
