I figure from what I've read on the forum that a better part of y'all order with Zanotti. I'm fixin to order some things and Zanotti's shipping is high dollar. Am I missing something? Chicago HD parts are a bit more but shipping put them under Zanotti by a whopping total of about 40 cents on an order of around $120. Reckon I'm gonna save me 40 cents.[sm=goodidea.gif][sm=badidea.gif]
I have bought several ($$$) items from both, and have had only one issue from Zanotti's (they should a part in stock, but it wasn't and they didn't tell me that it was then backordered). But then again, Chicago HD has, twice now, sent me more stuff than I ordered or paid for... Nope, I didn't keep them, they didn't fit my bike!!!
I posted this awhile back on a thread along this line:
Just ordered cruise control for my 06 E G Classic which lists @ $339.95. Checked out Zanottis @ $283.78 (that's about 16.5% off) plus $18.45 S/H for a total of $302.23. Chicago @ $271.90 (that's 20% off) plus $10.25 S/H for a total of$282.15. That is $1.63 less than Zanottis list price just for the unit and $20.08 less over all!!!! I will definately stay with Chicago, with cheaper prices and lower S/H costs. Don't need to be gouged by Zanottis.
Zanotti is higher on some items than Chgo. H-D, and visa versa. And I seem to remember that some p/n's on chgo's site say "in store purchase only." Although I've never called and verified that and haven't visited their site lately. Also, delivery is dependent on where you live. Another really nice feature is that you can plug Drag Specialties' p/n's in on Zanotti's site, there is some pretty good discounting going on. Don't know if you can do that on chgo's site. I've yet to plug in a Drag p/n and not get a hit. I've had good luck with Zanotti's thus far...
