I have just about given up on mine and learned to live with it. I modified by braking technique to load up the front brake and use light pressure on the rear. It's the pnly thing I have found that reduces the 'juddering' to a liveable level.
i have a tire change coming up soon and will re-check the bearings and the IDS. I hope it's a crap tire and the new one will help... but not holding my breath...
On my 09 Ultra I have noticed it a few times but only when braking and turning left. Either into my drive way or the drive at work. I haven't noticed it in a while though and had forgotten about it until reading this.
I had pretty much decided it was coming from the cupping in my rear tire. New tire now so maybe I'll never have it again.
I have a 09 street glide 33,000 miles NO vibration. My friend has a 09 ultra NO vibration. Both bikes have abs. My bike has stock street glide shock and he added street glide shock to his ultra. I doubt that shocks make a difference but what the hell.
I have a 11 Limited. My problem isn't vibration, when I hit the rear brake hard it feels and sounds like a metallic hammering. Then the anti-lock comes in and it feels normal. I have a appointment with the dealer on Tuesday. They rode it the other day and said something is way wrong. We will see on Tuesday.
