shock is leaking oil. WTF!!!

shock is leaking oil. WTF!!!
washed the bike today and found oil all over the bottom of the shock boot. is this a common problem? i hope it doesnt have anything to do with the lowering blocks i just took off. they were on the bike when i got it, but i was bottoming out when 2-up, so i decided to take em off. The shocks should be covered under warranty right?

When I bought my RKC 2 years ago they did not put any air in the shocks. As soon as I added air the right shock leaked. Dealer replaced it under warranty

I had oil keep apearing on my left muffler. Looked forever before finding the leak was from the shock. Took it to dealer and they replace the shock under warranty. They told me it was the 11th shock they had replaced on 08 model touring bikes. Must have been a bad run of shocks.
