Yes....another 21/18" wheel thread, need some help please
I've been kicking around the idea of putting a set of Renegade Tahoe wheels w/ a set of Avons on the '08 Ultra.
If I use the 1" front end lowering kit and a set of Street Glide shocks, will the ride height be about the same as the stock bike?
Also, will a stock front fender clear the front tire without rubbing?
Is anybody running this set up on an Ultra? Just wondering how it effects the handling.
Some others changes I'm contemplating include going to a Street Glide front fender, removing the saddlebag guards, and using a Street Glide type rear fender.
you will definitelly have to drill out the rear mounting bolts on the front fender. i couldn't fit a piece of paper in between my tire and fender when i test fit it. and yes if you lower it 1 inch in the front it should bring it back to stock height. good luck!
I have that setup on my RG, I got mine threw Hawg Halters, http://www.hawghalters.com/ If you call them ask for Jeff and tell him Joel Works sent you ( the UPSGUY) they are great people to deal with!!
