Okay guys, once again I need some input from everyone out there....putting a 21" X 3.5 front wheel on a stock 2012 Street Glide with a wrap-around style fender. Who makes an affordable, quality fender that will fit this style? Understand I'll also need different hardware and fender spacers as well.....further research also dictates that I should lower the front forks by approx. 1" to level the bike and address the handling issues that accompany the larger diameter wheel. Thanks in advance for all the help and assistance. Paradise Lost
I went through this same dilemma....here is my take...and take it as you may:
A 21" wheel is nice, but under the stock fender, IN MY OPINION, it doesn't look right. So, you now have to buy a 21" wheel ($1000-$2000 depending), a fender ($200-$350), get it painted properly ($200-$300), and lower it to make it ride close to stock ($350-$400). You are on the high end of $3000 and thats just fo the front!
I went with the HD Agitators (a pain in the *** to get) because they mare the closest set up to stock sizing without modification. I like the bolt on and go aspect. I also think the 19" fills the stock fender to perfection. For $1800, I got the 18" rear, 19" front, matching rotors, install kits and tires. You aren't going to get a 21" front only for that.
True, whatever I do its going to run into a nice chunk of change....Thank God for overtime!!! I found a Kendall Johnson fender on eBay for $130, and I already know how to paint, so that saves me a bundle right there. I like the Agitator rims too....but you mentioned they were a paint in the butt to aquire? What roadblocks did you hit in obtaining those rims, and did you order the chrome finish or the contrast finished? Thanks!
mine was less than 2k for everything including shipping. That is rim, tire, rotors, fender (painted) and new brake pads. For 3k you can get a matching rear as well.

Piston Puller--okay, now THAT'S the look I'm going for, although I'm looking @ contrast rims a little closer these days. Will check out HOGPRO's site. Thanks for the input!!
