Just installed a Mets 880 on the rear and put 2oz of the dyna beads in. The runs smooth as silk. I have 2 more oz. left for the front when its time to change.

if the front lower mount is tightened too much you will get vibration. I found that just snugging the nut works best.

On a side note. can I install these dyna beads myself? How hard is it? I don't think my wheels are balanced at all, there are no weights on them.

Are you talking old frame or the new frame that came out in 09?

Take out the valve stem...

Use Applicator Hose and pour them in... put valve stem back in... air them up. all done...

Are you absolutely positive you didn't have the shake before you put the beads in? I have used beads for a long, long time without any issues whatsoever. They just work. One time when I drank a little too much cerveza I mistakenly got the front tire mixed up with the rear tire and put 2 ounces into the front...no problem, so I just left them in there.
I am guessing there is something else amiss here.

I agree. I think there has to be another problem somewhere because I've been using DynaBeads since I put my new wheels on back in April and it's like riding on glass. I'm glad too because I just couldn't bring myself to stick those ugly-*** weights on my new wheels.
