I am wondering if a 97 and up FLT seat will fit ( with modifications of course..) on a pre-97 FLT.. It looks like they just changed the front mounting to a tongue on the seat as opposed to a tongue on the frame. Can they be made to fit?? Has anyone done this??? I am asking because it is getting hard to find an older EVO seat...and mine is going to need replacing really soon..lol

 

I've done a few mods with seats since I got my 99 RK. Yours has a different mount, but the basic profile of the fit should be the same. You can modify the mount as you like, either to suit your present mount or cut a slot in the frame to suit the tongue on the newer mount. I'd say which ever is easiest.
