I'm putting an 02 carb'd 883 motor in a Kraft tech hardtail frame and need help with a top motor mount. The stock one doesn't work and I was advised on a universal mount that would obviously adjust. Seems easier said than done. It's my first build and I'm having trouble settling on one that will work with minimal fabrication...preferably none.

Top front or the top middle?
If you have a top front mount you don't need a top middle mount. I don't know of an adjustable mount.
If you feel like you must have one they're simple to make. Cut your stock one down leaving just the head strap so you can retain your choke cable holder. Cut a plate to fit the mount provision on the frame itself. Bolt that piece to the frame then all that is left is connecting that plate to your headstrap. You can get creative there.
