predator front motor mount?
best money I've spent as far as really improving the enjoyment I get out of my bike on aggressive rides. And really it's a motor mount design these bikes NEED to come with from the factory.
I would get the wobbles or a gyrating effect in hard cornering because of the stock motor mount... swapped to the vibratechnics predator mount and it eliminated the wobble when cornering hard. Also it makes more a more stable ride on the highway, and just makes the bike handle better. My bike is now crisper and more responsive when I go to make a turn or change direction of the bike. I often forget its even there since I dont get the wobble any more.
If you look at how the stock motor mount is designed and how the swing arm mounts, you'll see where the wobble comes from and when cornering hard it'll try and act like a front end loader that turns by pivoting the chassis.... not good on a bike. The predator mount stops the side to side motion with a link setup but allows the motor to still have a nice rubber mount.

But install of the front mount is easy... but can be aggravating. I did it with my bike on the side stand and gently supported the engine with a bottle jack and removed the two bolts holding it to the engine then, the two holding the mount to the frame and pulled the mount out. Then you just reverse the process with the predator mount. the aggravating part is lining up the bolts when reinstalling. get all bolts threaded in by hand then get it torqued to spec. Would be easier with the bike standing vertical like on a lift.
here is also a link to the master thread about the vibratechnics predator mount, along with a more detailed install with pics https://www.hdforums.com/forum/dyna-...t-install.html
Even compared to a brand new mount,it makes a good difference in handling if you enjoy more then lugging down the road. Like the other guy said, helps keep the dyna oscillating tail wag in check.
Install of the mount like said can be done on the floor, few cuss words mutterd to be expected.just watch for cross threading only thing you can really screw up and bring the cuss word factor up quite high.
What got my bong water churning, was aligning the bike afterwards. You can do the shake it in way as per harley, or you can fine tune it with the mount and get what you paid for out of the mount. Cause its not cheap.
I suggest watching the glide pro video, and spending the 100 bucks or so on the angle finders and laser levels, and what ever brings out your patience to align the bike.the videos on a touring platform, but it's the same concept.and if you only have a single disc front, you just have to measure across the lines in a few areas and adjust ads needed on the under link of the predator mount to come up with equal measurements.
If buying on the sheer fact of vibration control, myself I feel that's a over sale point. It dose not sooth the grumpy, dinosaur of design of the 45o v twin in to the smoothness of a goldwing. But not to be unfair,I have a chunky cam too.so my experience might be mute in that forum.
