I don't like the idea of a not flat bottom inside; I don't really care for the swept down design....kinda reminiscent of a Victory I think...if I wanted one of those god awful futuristic looking cookie cutter metric style bikes, I woulda bought one of em! Sorry, but to me, Harleys are supposed to look a certain way. If you don't like the basic style of the bike, don't buy the damned thing! Sorry, but you asked!
To cure this problem you install a false floor which is flat. You use the area under the false floor for hiding stuff you don't want in plan sight.

If you are able to follow the radius of the rear fender for the arc on the bottom of the tour-pak, it will be an awesome accent to the rear of the bike and make the lines flow very well!

I would also suggest that at the bottom of the tour-pak, look at it from the rear, that you put a full length string of red LED's to enhance visibility of the bike from the rear (we've had far too many forum brothers & sisters post about getting rear ended)...

That said, I really do like the concept and look forward to seeing the real thing!

Moco has the style and it has lasted... ever wonder why more folks ride with the Moco Tour pak than the Victory? Class lasts a long, long time....

I guess I just can't get the visual on it. It seems to me your concept is going to have problems with the pipes. You'll have to build in clearance. Then you wind up with much the same as many others who offer "extended" bags. Only the bottom arc's to the rear instead on being flat or straight angled.
Can you explain how your design deals with the pipes?

Part of the reason the tourpak is shaped flat in the bottom is to allow the saddlebag lids to open. Not a whole lot of room there.

it would be tested first to make sure the lids open. And we are looking at making it more curvey then boxy. This it just a paper drawing. We want to make some new looks to the bagger market.

The goal here is to have more room and the bottom of the single big bag to flow with the top curve of the saddle bag lid.
