More than likely the stock belt will adjust up, You will lose some of your top speed, plus your speedo will be off some. I'll bet it would be awesome from red light to red light. But your rpms will run higher on the highway

No, you would use 40056-07 136 tooth 1" wide belt

Dawg, what was your reasoning for doing this? Odd 1st gear gearing and lugging off the line? As mentioned, did it effect your speedo? Mpg's, etc?

He's talking about the tranny 30 tooth. I did the comp 30 tooth. The reason was the poor gearing. It did not affect my speedo. If you do the tranny sprocket swap then it will and you have to recal the speedo.

Changed out the compensator sprocket to the EVO Industries 30 tooth sprocket to change the gearing.

Can you tell the comp is missing when you ride? Do you think the IDS makes up for it?

Nope, can't really tell. I do believe the IDS does make up for some of it. No issues at all with removing the compensator.

Thanks. I have the SE comp. If I decide that I don't like it, I will go with a set up similar to yours. Gonna look to see if EVO makes like a 32. I already have 09 gearing.
